Randstad has partnered exclusively with a multinational pharmaceutical company in pursuit of a skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Accounts Payable & Procurement Business Partner. Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Manager, this role is instrumental in overseeing all aspects of accounts payable, procurement, and travel and expense management for our Australia & New Zealand legal entities.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Procurement:
- Ensure timely processing of invoices (including E-invoicing) in the procurement system, maintaining accuracy and compliance in SAP.
- Proactively manage and resolve vendor queries, effectively manage preferred vendors.
- Collaborate with regional procurement to adopt best practices, ensuring agility in business sourcing decisions.
- Liaise with Legal and Global Third Party Risk Management to ensure compliance in vendor contracting and risk assessments.
- Provide training to the local organisation, serving as the local Accounts Payable & Procurement Champion.
- Leverage data and technology for process efficiency.
Travel and Expense Management:
- Review and process employees' Travel and Expense claims in Concur, utilising the system's full functionality for efficiency.
- Manage and administer Employee Corporate Card, Central Travel, and Purchasing Card Programs.
Master Data & General Ledger:
- Maintain and be the local super user for the Master Data system, providing support and training to the business.
- Ensure accuracy in month-end closing journals and reporting processes.
- Responsibility for the month-end Auto PO accruals system, ensuring accuracy in data.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the year-end external audit.
- Provide financial information when required.
- Act as a delegate for other Finance Team members when necessary.
Capabilities:
- Detailed understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel).
- Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and local financial reporting requirements.
- Experience performing full-function accounts payable duties.
- Ability to identify and drive innovative projects.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and proactively develop solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a small team environment.
Qualifications:
- Professional financial accounting experience of at least 4 years.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in a multinational company.
- Pharmaceutical sector experience.
- Appreciation of US GAAP and IFRS.
