job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven Accountant to join a growing national organisation that is looking to add to their high performing Finance team. Working within this company you will be part of a collaborative team with an impressive and supportive manager who encourages professional growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant who has 5+ years of financial accounting and reporting experience. Prior business services experience is preferred but not essential.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • End of month activities including reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, revenue, etc)
  • Income accruals
  • Analysis of revenue and expenses
  • IAS/BAS lodgements
  • Any ad hoc task and projects internal and external of the accounting team

To be considered for this role you will ideally have the following skills & experience:

  • Month end experience
  • Experience in business services industry is desired but not essential
  • Ideally have an accounting degree
  • CA/ CPA completed or part-qualified
  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Ability to pick up new systems and task quickly
  • Advanced level of Excel
