Cooper Vision is a global medical device company and market leader in the manufacture and supply of contact lenses. With a major presence here in Adelaide, the Finance team plays a key role in the effective and profitable running of the business.
About the role
After taking up the Accountant role you will work closely with the Finance Manager and Credit Controller within a collaborative team of 5 based at their Torrensville site. The role is full time permanent with duties including (but not limited to) reconciliations, month-end reporting, business activity statements, payroll, invoicing, expenses and budgeting.
Skills and experience
This role would be a great fit for candidates with a bachelor degree or higher in Accounting and Finance that are looking to grow into a role. Professional certification (CA or CPA) would be advantageous, as would demonstrated experience with a recognised ERP. If you have great communication skills, a team-first mind-set and are comfortable dealing with customers (over the phone) this role will be a great fit for you.
