About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a pharmaceutical industry leader. Our client has established market leadership over its competitors as a result of their investment in product support, service driving staff and customer focused relationships. This role is a perfect opportunity for a vibrant and confident candidate seeking the next fantastic step in their career and build your own client portfolio.

This is a permanent opportunity working standard business hours, Monday to Friday with plenty of onsite parking provided, western suburbs location.


  • Manage and develop an account base of clients
  • Grow and expand existing accounts
  • Up sell to a diverse account base of corporate clients within the complementary medicine industry
  • Fully utilise relationship building and negotiation skills to maintain a high level of customer service
  • Liaise with Procurement, Production, Quality and Operations to provide optimum service to clients
  • Deep dive into data and performance indicators to drive improvements in business processes and results
  • Other tasks or projects that may arise from time to time

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in similar role whether in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, advertising, etc.
  • Tertiary qualified mandatory
  • Tenure in previous roles
  • Able to use a solutions-focused approach and have the courage and creativity to know when to push boundaries to achieve desired outcomes for the business and customer
  • Highly organised and efficient with solid time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proactive and resourceful with a can-do attitude
  • Committed and can take direction
  • Understand account strategies including retention, growth and conversion
  • Willing to go above the call of duty to get the job done
