The Company

Our client is a national company, part of an international business offering fastening products and solutions to construction and industrial customers. They have an impressive local customer base. They have built up long-lasting relationships within industry by completing extensive research and development. They operate globally and locally with leading innovations in fastening technologies. They have a long history in Australia and have had sustained and carefully managed growth. It is due to this growth they are looking to add an experienced Account Manager to join their Brisbane based team.

The Role

In this Brisbane based role you, as Account Manager, will report directly to the State Sales Manager. Your duties will include:

  • Managing a book of existing business in fastening products
  • Creating and developing new opportunities with existing customers
  • Training customer staff on new products
  • Engaging and working with key internal stakeholders during all phases of service delivery to customers
  • Managing the Salesforce CRM reporting system


Your Profile

This role involves extensive dealings with Tradies and Construction Managers on sites in and around Brisbane. While not a must have, a trade background would be a nice to have for this role. You will have demonstrated experience in the fastening and/or construction sectors. Experience in these sectors is important as you will be the initial point of contact for technical questions. You will have highly developed communication skills and proven history in developing relationships. You will have evidence of completing thorough research on your customers’ needs.
