ABOUT US

Randstad is the preferred supplier to Local Government under the Local Government Council Solutions Temporary Staff Panel and provide temporary staff for ICT. With multiple opportunities available within high profile projects across South Australia, we have some exciting contract roles available right now!

ABOUT THE ROLES

Fantastic part-time contract opportunities available immediately for enthusiastic, customer service focused individuals who enjoy working with people within the community.

Reporting to the Digital Literacy Projects Support Officer, Information Technology you will support the ‘Bootcamp Project’ designed to train individuals within the community in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Each contract role offers 15 hours per week, or the roles can be combined for the right candidate.

Role # 1 – Microsoft Trainer (15hrs p/week):

  • Support learners in achieving a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and Microsoft Office Specialist Expert Certificate in Word and Excel.
  • Deliver training based on Microsoft’s Imagine Academy content.
  • Preferable: Certified Microsoft Trainer or Microsoft Office Specialist.

Please note: You will be required to work 5 days a week for the first four weeks in February from 5/2 to 2/3), thereafter you work 15 hours per week. Work days are Mondays with an option for Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Total hours can also be spread out across the week by negotiation.

Role # 2 – ICT Project Coordinator (15 hrs p/week):

  • Record and collate data for reporting.
  • Support students with their learning pathways and act as Proctor for Certification Exams.
  • Manage registrations, set-up and pack-down training room.
  • Preferable: experience in case management of student management in an educational environment.

Please note: Work days are Thursdays with an option of Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Thursday shift requires you to be available after-hours (5pm until 8:00pm). Remainder of hours can also be spread out across the week by negotiation.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in training adults in the use of digitals skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • An in-depth understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience working with adults of various cultural backgrounds with the ability to be flexible in training styles as needed.
  • Ability to record data as required including collection of registration forms, collating data for reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Successful applicants will need to provide a current/relevant police clearance or able to obtain one.
