  • how does the bonus work?

    Employees’ will accrue $1 for every hour worked up until December 31, 2022.

  • who is eligible?

    All Aged Care professionals working casually (on a short or long term temporary placement) through Randstad (you must be placed casually by Randstad in an aged care facility)

  • when is this paid?

    The final cut off for working hours will be 31 December 2022. We endeavour to have everything finalised to be paid by the 2nd week of January 2023.

  • what if an employee continues working after the cut off?

    If an employee works after December 31, 2022 those hours will not be accrued for the bonus payment.

  • can an employee opt to not take part in this scheme and receive the $1 every hour instead?

    No - this is a bonus scheme created to encourage and reward the hard work of all our casual Nurses and Carers.

  • what if an employee resigns from randstad before the bonus payment due date?

    The employee must notify us immediately, however your payment will still be in line with the scheme and will be paid in the second week of January 2023.

  • what if the employee goes permanent with a randstad client?

    The employee must notify us immediately however payment will still be in line with the scheme and will be paid in the second week of January 2023.

  • is an employee able to keep accruing the bonus, opting not to pay out when scheduled, and choose an alternative payout time at a later stage?

    No - the cash bonus will be paid out as scheduled and reset at the allocated time.

  • tax

    The bonus will be paid in accordance with your tax obligations.

  • will superannuation be paid on the bonus?

    Yes, Superannuation will be paid on the bonus.

  • can randstad remove the bonus scheme?

    Yes, we have the right to stop the bonus scheme at any time, however if we do we will make sure to pay out the bonus owing.
