our AS/NZS 4801 accreditation

As a demonstration to our dedication in this area, Randstad has recently achieved AS/NZS 4801 accreditation. AS/NZS 4801:2001 is an occupational health and safety management system that is commercially recognised within Australia, New Zealand and other countries (OHSAS 18001:2007). As a leading standard in OH&S, this accreditation showcases to our clients, competitors, candidates and OH&S authorities that Randstad regards occupational health and safety as a top priority and are dedicated in the provision of creating safe working environments.

One of the major advantages of obtaining AS/NZS 4801 accreditation is to control system compliance throughout our organisation.  Obtaining the certification is verification that Randstad’s systems comply and are appropriate to our business activities.

AS/NZS 4801 compliance and certification provides a recognised framework with the benefits of:
  • increased legislative and contractual compliance
  • increased marketing opportunities and advantage
  • increased morale and productivity
  • reduced injuries, illnesses, claims, lost time, and insurance premiums
In July 1999, Randstad became the first recruitment organisation in Australia to be granted with Self Insurance through the WorkCover Corporation, Workers Compensation Committee Board. Having Self Insurance status ensures that Randstad’s OHSW & IM system is maintained at the highest standards.
