Australia boasts a wealth of advantages that make it the ideal destination for
workers looking to relocate overseas.
This is according to Tom Blackett, spokesperson for the Australian Visa Burea, who recently highlighted some of the benefits emigrants can expect.
He noted that the English-speaking country boasts a love of pub culture and cricket, as well as lacking the bad weather that plagues Britain.
"It is no wonder then that the island continent is one of the most
attractive migration destinations in the world, especially for Britons," Mr Blackett said.
He went on to state that
Australia is the only developed nation to have emerged unscathed from the global recession.
Similarly, the expert also pointed to a low unemployment rate and high economic confidence as two key reasons for the popularity of the country among migrants.
A recent report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the country grew by 0.1 percentage points in August.
